When we talk about natural products it is very common to find the phrase that they do not contain chemicals, however, it is necessary to differentiate between natural and synthetic chemicals. Absolutely everything that surrounds us is made up of molecules, both organic and inorganic and elements. Everything around us has intrinsic chemistry that we must differentiate from the synthetic and natural. Man always seeks to understand the complex but fascinating world of natural chemistry and we try as much as possible to imitate it, synthesizing the active centers, and from that they been able to formulate an endless amount of commonly used medicine whose origin is derived from medicinal plants . By synthesizing the active centers we managed to obtain a more concentrated and pure compound than those found in nature with a much more powerful effect than it would have when using the plant directly, but the side effects could be very severe and even carcinogenic and that is the main difference between natural and synthetic chemicals.
Natural chemicals are very complex, it has a large number of compounds that are in a complete equilibrium, which man often alters. Within the medicinal plants we have active centers that are effective to correct any particular problem, but ,personally, I believe that the other compounds that make up this complex natural world, are also in balance with the human being and it is the set of all of them what achieves a unique harmony between the natural world and the human body. We all belong to the same ecosystem and therefore we must be in a perfect balance with ourselves and nature.
